Trauma Nurse
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide careful Nursing interventions in emergency situations. Triage patients and evaluate the severity of the patient's injuries. Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.
Salary: $60,000
Education: The most common route is acquiring an RN degree along with a bachelor degree, and then earning a certification program in trauma nursing. An RN degree is a basic nursing program that takes 2 to 3 years to complete.
Demands or needs: The specialization for trauma nurses is to deal with those patients who have acute and immediate needs because they face urgent and often life-threatening situations.This means that trauma nurses work in highly stressful situations and are often responsible for the coordination of patient care.
