Student Success Statement

This quote means that whoever we stand with them, we see the positive things. Even if everything goes wrong we must stand for what's right. Not everyone wins and not everyone wins all the time. We are not perfect, no one is, which is why Lincoln said he is not bound or tied to win because it is not something we not do sometimes. Also he is saying that he deciding to have friends that do right and if they do wrong he will part from them. I think this is a good idea because if you hang out with bad influences then you will follow their example and do the same things as them. This is why we need to hang out with great positive people around us to not do something horrible or mean to anyone.
Psychiatric Aide
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, working under direction of nursing and medical staff. May assist with daily living activities, lead patients in educational and recreational activities, or accompany patients to and from examinations and treatments.
Salary: $25,000- $40,100
Education: Most jobs for psychiatric aides require completion of high school, and many require a driver's license to aid in the transport of clients to outside activities or appointments. Psychiatric aides are usually well-supervised and are expected to learn their responsibilities while on the job.

Overall employment of psychiatric technicians and aides is projected to grow 6 percent from 2016 to 2026, about as fast as average for all occupations. Demand for this occupation will be affected by the growth of the older population. Older people typically experience higher rates of cognitive illnesses than younger people do.

Podiatrist Duties and Responsibilities: Podiatrists treat a variety of foot and ankle ailments, including calluses, ingrown toenails, heel spurs, and arch problems. They also treat foot and leg problems associated with diabetes and other diseases. Some podiatrists spend most of their time performing advanced surgeries, such as foot and ankle reconstruction. Demand for this particular career: Employment of podiatrists is projected to grow 10 percent from 2016 to 2026, faster than the average for all occupations. Continued growth in the demand for medical and surgical care of the foot and ankle will stem from the aging population.

Plastic Surgeon
Duties and Responsibilities: A plastic surgeon operates on a patient's face or body in order to repair or reconstruct the area. As a plastic surgeon, you may perform two types of surgery:cosmetic surgery to improve appearance and reconstructive surgery to correct appearance after an injury or to improve bodily function.

Education: After completing a bachelor's degree program, future plastic surgeons must earn a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school. A doctor of medicine program includes four years of education and training.

Having a good character is higher than intellect because you can be the smartest person in the world but you can also be the rudest person in the world. So when you actually need someone to help you with your intelligence you will not be able to help yourself you might need someone but you can do it by your self too and if you are a snob then no one will want to be your friend and no one will help you. Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. When you have good qualities not only everyone wants to be your friend but you feels good about yourself and will get more respect from people around you. So character is being who you are as a person and what you are willingly do for others. It will determine who you are.
Physical Therapy Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Physical therapist assistants record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Education: obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program, prepares graduates for taking the national licensure examination and entering the field of physical therapy with the required knowledge, skills, and behaviors of a PTA.
Demand or need for
this particular career: There is a high demand for physical therapist assistants in the workforce despite the economic downturn. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of physical therapists is expected to grow by 40 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations.

This quote means that if you do everything and try your best a test or sports for example, then that means that you will your hard work payed off and you will have a happy life when you do everything with your best and do what is right. And if you don't try your best on anything and you just think that everything will go on fin, then that's not choosing the right and you are damaging yourself because if you put some hard work into it, then that means that you will have a good life and your hard work will pay off, but if you don't try nothing to get your hard work to pay off, then why did you even try to do some hard work when your are doing nothing at all.

In doing what's right

Brigham Young has founded one of the purest universities in Utah and is providing today’s student success statement. In the statement he states that true independence can only come from doing what is right. I see what he means and agree. I agree that only people who go good and do it the right way are the ones that are able to produce good things. With good things come freedom and independence. Freedom is given to those who have shown that they can handle themselves as is independence. This is all the way true because someone who can commit greatness will do it because they can do it on their own,; they don’t need help form drugs or anything along the lines of that. This statement has been relevant my whole life. For example, because I do my work and do good in school my parents have always given me more freedom than they give my siblings. They do this because they know that I do what’s right so they rust me to keep doing what’s right and as a reward. I know that if I do something that they are not okay with they are going to limit they give me. Another example is a prisoner. If a prisoner behaves well they will be let out early and be given their freedom because they chose to do the right while in jail. Overall, I will continue to abide by this statement because I do benefit from it
